But the single Pixel Camera manages it just fine.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Their last year&#8217;s offering, the Pixel 3 (<a href=\"https:\/\/techrant.blog\/google-pixel-3-and-3xl-nice-or-notch\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">read about it here<\/span><\/a>), still stands as the Camera champ among even the competition from this year. Fun fact, it does most things phones with dual and even triple cameras can do (like blur effects and lossless zoom)&#8211;with just a single one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Pixel 3 wasn&#8217;t cheap. And save for it&#8217;s amazing Camera and Stock Android experience, it really didn&#8217;t have much else going for it. And there was doubts concerning how it would hold up over time. In summary, Google, similar to most Smartphone Manufacturers in 2018, couldn&#8217;t justify it&#8217;s $1000 price tag, so the Pixel 3 wasn&#8217;t selling very well&#8211;Despite heavy price cuts. And unlike other Smartphone Makers, they didn&#8217;t have a cheaper, more reasonable model, like the iPhone XR and Galaxy S10e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div align=\"center\">\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\n<!-- Mobile (250x250) -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:inline-block;width:250px;height:250px\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4883052312808999\" data-ad-slot=\"2024414061\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:62px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ENTERS A SOLUTION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To understand the brilliance in the Pixel 3a, let&#8217;s take a look at the current &#8220;budget&#8221; Smartphones and &#8220;Flagship Killers&#8221;. These are Smartphones that pack high-end features (lots of RAM, Storage, CPU), and sell them at half the price of more Reputable or Popular Flagship models (like Samsung&#8217;s S10 and iPhone XS). Companies like <a href=\"https:\/\/techrant.blog\/oneplus-6t-flagship-killer-yet\/\">OnePlus<\/a> and phones like the Pocofone F1 are popular examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there&#8217;s a trend among these &#8220;Flagship Killer&#8221; models. Contrary to the killer specs, they often sacrifice on either Design, Display Quality, Cameras, or all three. It delivers on the Pixel&#8217;s major strengths (Camera and Software) and packs in average performance (4GB RAM+Snapdragon 660 Processor). But how about a great camera, Stock Android, a beautiful OLED Display, Stereo Speakers, but just okay performance. And all that for $400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you may be thinking, that&#8217;s still not cheap. $400 can get you even better deals in 2019, after-all. But when you remember this is still the best Android experience out there. Especially in a time when more and more people just don&#8217;t see the need for an upgrade. The Pixel 3a manages to capture most of what users love in Industry-best standards. Then packs in a just-above-average spec sheet alongside. They are hoping this will be enough reason to pick up the Pixel 3a.
